It's a PLACENTIA PD RECAP, b'ys. Both halves of the Foodland case back to back, no side quests, no detours. Just Russ, the badge, and a whole lot of bad decisions. Part one: Detective Russ is barely a week into the job in Placentia when he's paired with his new partner Boyd Walsh, a seasoned vet who smells like the bottom of a beer case. A routine patrol turns into a standoff with the Brake brothers outside FOODLAND, and then the French smugglers roll up (Jamaican French, according to some) and it all goes sideways. Lego men stand in for minis, the rookie DM is figuring out the rules on the fly, and somebody gets clipped right in the neck. Then BACKUP ARRIVES. Dandy rolls in as Constable Danny Ryan and Morgan as Constable Trina Power, with a power slide and everything. There are headshots through car windows and Russ has a full come to Jesus moment. The finale is a dive through a window, a baton to the noggin, and a face full of pepper spray. Justice, Placentia style. In between, Guess the Song Lyric goes to The Hip. Brian closes it out with a Blind Ranking of Marvel characters if they were your butler, plus a bonus round of french fries. (Crinkle cut got robbed.) Missed the case the first time?
